It is with great pleasure that I’m able to advise you of another successful year. In addition to making a profit we also retained our commitment in assisting our local community through the financial assistance in category one and two of the CDSE scheme.

We continue to upgrade various areas of the club. Our poker machine replacement program is ongoing. The next item on our agenda is to replace the carpet in the Sports Lounge and adjoining areas. We’ve also updated our security surveillance in the club and car park.

It is our hope the State Government reviews the present poker machines taxes to enable us to continue providing financial assistance to our local community and charities that rely on our support.

In closing I would like to thank my staff for their commitment throughout the year which was greatly appreciated. To our members I wish you happy holidays for the festive season. I hope 2006 brings you peace and prosperity.
